Holmdel 40 Saint Rose 37 – Luke Mayell’s three pointer with four seconds left gave the Hornets a big road win.  See the final moments unfold and watch a post-game interview with Mayell

Neptune 44 Manasquan 36 – Barry Brown had 16 points as the Scarlet Fliers put together a huge fourth quarter effort.  See the highlights and post-game reaction from Brown

Saint Rose 79 Holmdel 52 – Kat Phipps had a huge fourth quarter as part of a 34 point effort.  Phipps hit 8 three pointers – see her great performance and post-game interview

Marlboro 51 Wall 37 – Nicole Shatsky had 26 points as the Mustangs improve to 8-2 – see their first half highlights above

1.  Jake Logue, Southern Regional – 27 points (including 1000th career) in 80-59 win over Millville

2. Lloyd Daniels, Colts Neck – 25 points in a 61-60 win over Point Pleasant Beach

3. James Geraghty, Ranney – 20 points in a 44-30 win over New Egypt

3. Brendan Barry, Rumson-Fair Haven – 20 points in an 81-58 win against Middletown South

Monmouth Building Center Game Ball Voting coming up on Sunday

Last week we had thousands of votes for our first basketball edition of Monmouth Building Center Game Balls.  Saint Rose’s Kat Phipps and RFH’s Brendan Barry took home the honors.  Coming up on Sunday on SSZ, we’ll post the top performers from the past week in high school hoops on both the boys and girls sides.  Voting will stay open until Tuesday at 4pm.  Also on Sunday, we’ll debut the SSZ Game Puck for the top high school hockey performance
