We started the “In the Zone” series to get to know the athletes we are covering off the field.  CBA first baseman John Moschella gave us a bonus when he thanked his grandpa who just happened to be standing nearby.  A great, genuine family moment caught by our cameras.

The senior class at Shore Regional high school spent their final days of their senior year giving back to the community.  The state championship baseball team and many other Blue Devils athletes were part of the cleanup effort.

World Series MVP and Phillies left hander Cole Hamels came back to Lakewood on an off day to have his BlueClaws jersey retired.

The future of the Philadelphia Phillies plays right here in the Jersey Shore with the Lakewood BlueClaws.  Dylan Cozens got a walk off bomb against Rome and it was a sight to see.
